Frequently Asked Questions

As a substance abuse recovery and treatment facility, Woodlake Addiction Recovery, aims to empower the clients under their care to heal them physically and spiritually.

Our core values are to give respect and dignity to those individuals that are being cared for in our facility, to offer a new healthier lifestyle in our counseling sessions, to empower the clients to become a better version of themselves.

Our treatment center is mainly built for the treatment of adults struggling with chemical abuse.

The residential treatment at this facility is available as a long-term or short-term program, which longer or shorter than 30 days, respectively.

We have detox services such as medical detox for substance abuse treatment. We also offer intensive outpatient services (IOP) and prevention education.

For those exiting our inpatient facilities, transitional housing is available.

Our program is truly natural and holistic in nature. We do not believe that treatment simply consists of substituting one drug for another, as many other treatment centers do.

We strive not to prescribe anti-anxiety, anti-depressant or other medication as a solution order to deal with addiction disorders..

Due to this, we are not able to take all types of addicts and any potential clients must go through a thorough assessment either in person or over the phone prior to enrollment.

Woodlake Addiction Recovery Center is based on the Traditions and Principles of the 12-step programs and the founding Oxford Group.

The Four Absolutes –Honesty, Unselfishness, Love, and Purity and the guiding keys of the Beatitudes were the basics of the Oxford Group from which AA and other 12-steps programs originated.

Woodlake Addiction Recovery Center parallels the founding Oxford absolutes, the keys or attitudes to happiness, and the guiding principles of the 12 Step Programs into the four phases of their treatment.

His theme at TEDxRio+20 was addiction — from drugs to power. From the lack of love to the desire to escape oneself, from susceptibility of the being to interior power — nothing escapes. And he risks a generic and generous prescription: “Find your nature and be nice to yourself.”
