The Woodlake Addiction Recovery Center Therapeutic Community consist of 4 houses on site to house in-patient clients. There are 4 houses; 2 men’s houses and 2 houses for the ladies.
The Woodlake Therapeutic community are recovery oriented focusing on the whole person and overall lifestyle changes, not simply abstinence from drug use. The Woodlake therapeutic community acknowledges the chronic, relapsing nature of substance use disorders and holds the view that lapses are opportunities for learning .
Recovery is seen as a gradual, ongoing process of cognitive change through clinical intervention, and it is expected that it will take time for program participants to advance through the stages of treatment, setting personal objectives along the way.
Once the drug use is interrupted through the detox process, we help the patient attain abstinence and spiritual growth through counseling, group therapy and intensive outpatient groups as well.
