Care Speranza began her nursing career over 25 years ago. In 2007, she began working in the field of addictions treatment; immediately falling in love with the field. She then embarked on the journey towards dual licensure as an addictions counselor and nurse. She subsequently gained the credentials of Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Addiction Counselor, Certified Clinical Supervisor, and Advanced Alcohol & Drug Counselor.
Ms. Speranza has filled various roles within the addictions field including: Admissions Coordinator, Utilization Review, Primary Counselor, Outpatient Services Coordinator, Director of Nursing, Chief Executive Officer and currently Clinical Nurse Coordinator along with maintaining a private practice. She has successfully started Partial Hospitalization & Intensive Outpatient Programs from ground up, as well as sober living programs. Care’s passion for this field has also led her to receive advanced training in trauma resolution counseling (EMDR).
Care’s personal journey of recovery from addiction drives her passion for addictions treatment and her compassion for the still sick and suffering addict and their family members. She is an active, grateful member of Narcotics Anonymous with the clean date of June 15, 2005.
