Mrs. Cassandra B. Jones, LPC-S, NCC, M.A. works at our Ethel location as the Assistant Clinical Director and female counselor. She graduated from Southern University with her Master of Art in Mental Health Counseling. She also received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Southern University. Mrs. Cassandra is an LPC-S # 5730 licensed with the Licensed Professional Counselors Board of Examiners. Cassandra has logged countless hours as a substance abuse counselor; along with addressing issues of trauma, depression, anxiety and other mental health disorders. These avenues of experience have allowed her to hone her abilities to have an exceptional understanding and knowledge of how to treat her clients with great professionalism and a unique approach.
Mrs. Cassandra possesses certified knowledge of human behavior and performance which allows her to communicate effectively and personably with her clients. Her effectiveness stems from her knowledge of group behavior and dynamics, societal trends and influences, human migrations, ethnicity cultures and their history or origins.
Mrs. Cassandra provides great guidance in our Ethel location with staff by molding them to be the next great Woodlake clinicians. Mrs. Cassandra provides assistances with our community bases program, LSF in one of our Baton Rouge locations also. Mrs. Cassandra prides herself on her ability to give full attention to what other people are saying and then take the time to understand their points being made.
When she is not working, Cassandra’s primary joys in life are spending time with her family and spending time in the kitchen cooking and preparing delicious meals.
