Michelle Adams has worked here since April 2018. Michelle started in this field in July of 2011. She is in recovery and has been sober since April 1, 2011. Michelle has previously worked at New Beginnings Adolescent Center in 2011 and 2018, and also at Victory Recovery Center for Adults in 2015-2016. She graduated from The National Laser Institute in 2014 in Phoenix, Arizona. Michelle received her Counselor In Training License on May 11, 2018.
She have a passion for helping others recover from alcohol and drug addiction. “It brings me joy to see the light come on in people’s eyes again after they have been so hopeless. To watch others recover and be a happy member of society again is what I strive for as a counselor.” She is the Registration Chair for Cajun Country Conference and also sponsors other women. Michelle’s favorite thing to do is to go on meditation retreats. She’s been married to her husband, who has been in recovery for 10 years, and they were blessed with a baby girl in October. They also have a fur baby shih-tzu name Lyla.
