Robyn Paris is a CIT at Woodlake Addiction Recovery Center in Abbeville, La. Robyn is the PSA Coordinator where she assesses all new intakes. During this assessment, Robyn obtains a history of each client. This assessment aids the counselor’s in creating a treatment plan for their client. Robyn has experience in working with adults, adolescents, inpatient and outpatient therapy, and the criminal justice system.
Robyn has been in the addiction field since 2013. Robyn graduated University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. From there, she began working on her license to become a Certified Addiction Counselor. After graduation, Robyn worked at the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office as a Treatment Coordinator, and later a CIT for 4 years. Robyn eventually transferred over to Woodlake in December 2017. Robyn originally continued to work as a Residential Female Counselor at Woodlake and switched over to PSA Coordinator after becoming pregnant with twins in 2019. Robyn is currently working on her MBA in Healthcare Administration at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and is expected to graduate in December 2020.
Robyn’s hobbies include being a new mother to twin girls and enjoying every minute.
